Hidden Valley 38 – Our Mammoth Mountain Retreat
Welcome to Hidden Valley 38, a spacious and exceptionally comfortable one-bedroom plus loft condo nestled among the pines, just a short walk from The Village and Village Gondola. Professionally managed by Mammoth Lakes Condo Rentals, this is our personal Mammoth vacation home, thoughtfully furnished, fully equipped, and carefully maintained to feel like home from the moment you arrive.
The Space
The condo accommodates up to six guests with one bedroom, a spacious sleeping loft, and two full bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed, while the upstairs loft offers two additional queen beds. With a full bathroom on each level, the layout works especially well for families or couples traveling together.
The main living area features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and large windows overlooking the surrounding pines. Facing east, the condo welcomes the morning sunlight while the trees create the wonderful feeling of being tucked away in your own treehouse above The Village.
A Kitchen Designed for Living
Completely remodeled in 2023, the kitchen is one of the highlights of our home. We didn't cut corners on this renovation! It features beautiful natural-wood cabinetry, stone countertops and backsplash, updated lighting, new plumbing fixtures, and GE appliances.
The kitchen is fully equipped because this is where we actually stay and cook when we're in Mammoth. The dining table comfortably seats six, making it easy to enjoy meals together.
Relax & Unwind
After a day exploring the mountains, return home and relax beside the wood-burning fireplace. Complimentary firewood is provided during the winter months.
High-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs in the living room, bedroom, and loft allow guests to stream their favorite entertainment using their own accounts. There is no cable television.
An Outstanding Location
One of Hidden Valley's greatest advantages is its location. The Village and Village Gondola are approximately a five-minute walk away, and Mammoth Brewing Company is even closer.
During ski season, the Village Gondola provides convenient access to Canyon Lodge. Mammoth's free bus and trolley system makes it easy to explore town without driving.
When we stay here, we typically stock up at Vons upon arrival and rarely use our car again until it's time to head home.
Community Amenities
Hidden Valley offers two Jacuzzis, saunas, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Community BBQs are available in the pool building next door. Please note that the BBQ on our private balcony is reserved exclusively for owner use.
A Few Things to Know
Because this is our personal Mammoth home, you'll find it furnished and equipped as a home rather than a bare-bones vacation rental. We simply ask that guests treat it with the same care and respect they would their own home.
No smoking.
No pets. Hidden Valley is a non-pet-friendly complex, and the HOA prohibits guest pets.
For guests traveling with service animals, the HOA requests a form be completed 48 hours before arrival. Please contact us in advance so we can assist with the process.
No air conditioning; heating is provided.
The sleeping loft is accessed by stairs.
For us, this home has always been about the beautiful surroundings, the convenience of The Village, and having a comfortable place to return to after a day enjoying Mammoth. We hope the guests we share it with appreciate those same qualities.
