Positive: This seems a bit of an extravagance at $250 US per night, but this is THE place to be in the Chaltén area. Quiet, peaceful, private location behind a gate and out of sight of the road 14 km out of town with unparalleled views of Fitz Roy and surrounding towers which loom over the cabin. It’s a well equipped cabaña, From the bedroom you have views of the towers over your toes. The sitting room has a comfortable couch that also provides views of the towers. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with good hot-water shower.

Summary: THE best location in the Chaltén area. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
