Summary: The property was very quaint and perfect for what we were looking for. It was clean and well maintained too. The host was easy to communicate with and even left us some soda and beer in the fridge upon arrival! Cons are no fault of the owner but the neighbor has a rooster that crows anywhere from 4-6am. Most people seem to own chickens/roosters so that part isn’t unusual and we would likely experience that anywhere else we stayed, but it was a surprise wake up call. She does ask that you keep the A/C off while you’re out of the house. I can understand that probably due to cost, but I’ll say from first hand experience, it’s not fun sweating all day and coming back to a house the same temp as the outside and waiting for the room units to cool the place down a little. She was very polite when she asked us to keep it off while we were out, so we did. It was really close to all the excursions and restaurants and wasn’t hard to learn your way around without GPS. I would stay here again if we ever made it back to the area!
