Positive: The staff were helpfull and kind

Negative: We were very disappointed with our stay due to a lack of communication and basic amenities. We were not informed in advance that the restaurant would be closed from lunchtime on 24 December until 26 December. During this period, there was no food or drinks available at the hotel, not even cold drinking water. This was especially inconvenient as we had planned our stay assuming normal hotel services would be available, particularly during the holiday period. Proper notice should have been given so guests could make alternative arrangements.
