Summary: A great hotel away from the night life of the beach. Friendly staff but not the best hotel. Cleanliness definitely isn’t a top priority here. I stayed for 3 nights and had the same sheets and 1 small blanket for two people. The water would not work half the time, thankfully they did provide a bucket and ladle. You’re required to give the receptionist the key, which I thought would be for cleaning purposes, thus after the first 2 nights my guest and I learned there would be no cleaning at all. Though I have no plans to revisit Puerto Galera, I do hope the hotel learns to clean the hotel frequently.
