Positive: It was an amazing experience and one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The hotel has a brilliant layout, which is why it's never crowded and gives you a feeling of privacy and leisure luxury even when it's fully booked during the holiday season. The staff reacts to your requests immediately and in a very friendly manner. We booked all our activities with our concierge Jack who was extremely helpful. The territory is beautiful, including the beach, and the food is superb. The massage and SPA corner were a whole separate delight.

Negative: Having a towel dryer in the room would be nice. Also, to personalize tour activities outside of hotels and to better the experience it might be good to give the guests a more detailed description of the tour (time on the road, what exactly is included, etc.). Outside activities were a weak spot of our time in Panglao: we got ripped off on island-hopping and spent 8 hours in the car doing rather disappointing sightseeing in Bohol.

Summary: So worth a 9000 km trip
