Positive: I have stayed here on several occasions - 9 days in November alone - and cannot fault the room, breakfast and fantastic staff.

Negative: On all previous occasions a Caffitaly fresh coffee capsule machine was provided in the room. On this occasion there was no coffee machine, just a kettle and 2 sachets of an awful 3 in 1 drink that purports to be drinkable. The evening receptionist (with sour face and spectacles) argued that the room doesn't come with a coffee machine (thought there was one hidden in a cupboard). After challenging her claim she then went on to inform us that they had a supply problem with the coffee capsules and therefore only 2 bedroom apartments were being furnished with them. Even if that is the case, I would expect to be provided with some instant coffee, tea, etc., but absolutely nothing was forthcoming - simply take it or leave it. As a quite frequent return guest I expected better, based on previous experiences, and while the apartment and provision was otherwise as expected for this price point I will think carefully before booking the Alpha Suites in the future.
