Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quiet, clean little flat that is close to the airport. It’s all remotely handled so I had the place to myself but something to keep in mind as you won’t come into contact with any physical ‘hosts’ . However, they were extremely communicative over booking.com and really helpful. There is wifi and aircon and a kitchen area so you can prepare hot drinks etc - and there was salt, pepper and some oil next to the mini stove so you could even cook a little if you wanted ! There is a great little shop just up the road for supplies. Hosts helped me to arrange transport to the airport for an early flight. One thing to note - the bus from Semporna will drop you off in front of the homestay which is great but I got the road wrong as there are two roads with the same name. You need the second road! Though this is max a couple of minutes walk so not really a big issue. This will make sense once you get the instructions via message if you book.
