Positive: This is a hidden gem for anyone who loves a spacious, very comfortable home that is completely private and surrounded by the authentic, local nature of Langkawi. We had our own house with a swimming pool, surrounded by beautiful, relaxing, and energizing scenery and a few locals. Such a comfortably furnished living and dining room, a very good bed, pleasantly quiet during the day and at night, so we could recover well from our excursions and sleep wonderfully at night. We had a scooter for our 12-day stay and did everything on our own (roads are easy to drive, short distances to all destinations). However, there is also a very good driver (who picked us up from the airport and showed us everything – great check-in!) and tour manager who can book everything for you. A really nice and practical service and extra. Langkawi is a beautiful island with lots to see. We were out and about every day exploring the area. We also saw the more touristy, busy, and crowded areas and were very happy to be staying in our accommodation, which offered so much more comfort and peace and quiet. The host gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to see and was always available. During my travels over the last 4 years, this is one of the few accommodations that is even better in reality than in the pictures.
